FHE is the statewide organization of homeschoolers in Missouri. The purpose of FHE is to protect the inalienable right of the parents of Missouri to teach their own children without state regulation and control. They do this through monitoring legislative events both nationally and locally, lobbying legislators on behalf of home education, an annual rally at the capitol, Legislative Alert Network, etc. They also offer First Things First resource booklet, bulletins, etc. Membership is $10.00 per year. Donations are also accepted.

MATCH is a Christian state organization that promotes home education and believes that every family has the God-given mandate and responsibility to oversee the education of their children, regardless of their philosophy of education or religious affiliation. They provide a bi-monthly neswletter, education problem assistance, legislative alerts, annual state convention, etc.

Home School Legal Defense Association (HSLDA)

HLSDA provides legal defense services for member homeschoolers. Cost is $115 per year but providing WCCHE's support group discount number when applying reduces the annual fee to $95. Monthly and quarterly payments are possible, and you can join on-line.

Boy Scouts of America - Troop 142
Location: Providence Reformed Presbyterian Church, 9124 Sappington Road, Crestwood
Time: 7:00 p.m. on the first Thursday after the first Tuesday each month.

Cub Scout of America - Pack 142

Each family is their own Den.
Keepers of the Faith
Location: St. Louis County Library (Daniel Boone Branch), Clarkson Road, Chesterfield, MO
Time: Tuesdays, 7:00-8:30 p.m.

Keepers of the Faith is a parent/child group similar to Boy/Girl Scouts with a distinctively Christian flair.
